Gamma Zeta Alpha held their presidential election at the National Leadership Conference (NLC) at CSU Monterey Bay on July 21st, 2018. The day consisted of various workshops and training to prepare our membership for the new school year.
The membership voted Michael Lopez, our current director of professional development, for president of the national board. Michael will start his position on July 2019. During this time Michael will shadow the current national president before starting his term.
Michael has two years of experience in social work and organizational development. He holds an MSW in social work from the University of Southern California, where he was honored as USC’s first national champion in the sport of Greco Roman Wrestling. He also holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego.
