Eta Chapter
Our Vision
The Eta Chapter of Gamma Zeta Alpha Fraternity, Inc. at UCLA strives to uplift all our brothers and their respective communities. Having multiple brothers from diverse backgrounds such as the undocumented, LGBTQ+, transfer, and other various historically underrepresented populations- gives us the opportunity to contribute to the betterment of our communities.
The Eta Chapter prides itself on being established at the number one public university in the nation. Since it’s inception on January 15, 2000, the Eta Chapter has had a 99% graduation rate leading to an extensive alumni network with brothers working in a range of professional fields from finance to city government, medicine, law, and everywhere in between. The brothers of this organization do not join for a few years, we are members of this brotherhood for a lifetime.

Every year at the Eta Chapter, we work towards being innovative internally and externally across the board. Our brothers demonstrate leadership as we lead other organizations on campus. Several brothers conduct academic research, gain acceptance to top internships and programs, travel abroad, and even organize conferences for the advancement of our communities.
Our brotherhood is rooted in the betterment of our communities. Community service is not just standard in our organization but a passion ingrained within each brother of our Chapter to ensure we help elevate our own communities to their highest potential. For the past decade, our Youth Peace Project has been an event where we have hosted students from underserved communities. Our Youth Peace Project continues to empower and encourage the youth to become more proactive about issues that affect their communities through a series of meaningful and impactful workshops and speakers; with the ultimate goal of encouraging them to pursue higher education. Our organization holds the devotion we have made to ourselves and to our communities to the highest standard and for that reason, we have excelled at being the most community-driven Latino organization on campus.
Our chapter has continued to work towards being more conscious and insightful of the political climate within our community in order to build a greater support system not only for our brothers but to everyone around us.
