Meet the National Director of Chapter Development Carlos Garcia

Carlos Garcia Director of Chapter DevelopmentMr. Carlos Garcia joins the Board of Directors for Gamma Zeta Alpha Fraternity, Inc. in the Summer of 2013 as the Director of Chapter Development. The Director of Chapter Development shall foster the development of new or at-risk chapters. He will provide guidance to new chapters until they are self-sustainable and create an action plan to help at-risk chapters grow and improve their operations. He shall create and update chapter development manuals and other resources for emerging chapters.

Mr. Carlos Garcia received his B.A. in Communication from the University of California, San Diego on December 2013. As a recent graduate he now works as a Production and Public Relations manager for Raina Belts. As a Production manager he oversees the display of the companies belts and various other products at fashion shows across the United States and is also responsible of forming and maintaining relationships with high-end fashion magazines.

In 2009 Mr. Carlos Garcia joined Gamma Zeta Alpha Fraternity, Inc. where he contributed to his chapters by holding positions such as Historian, Dean of Membership and lead the planning of their chapter annual formal as a two-day celebration in Palm Springs and Soak City. During his junior year he held Community Service, Brotherhood and Historian positions simultaneously. Mr. Carlos Garcia also participated and took leadership roles on his campus, during his senior year he was one of the people chosen to lead and plan the Raza Graduation at the University of California, San Diego, successfully putting on a formal dinner graduation for over 50 graduates and 500 family members.
