Fifteen young men had a vision– a mission dedicated to achieving academic excellence, improving the community, and inspiring young men to promote the Latino culture as brothers. This idea, which began as just a simple dream, eventually became something incredible, something much greater than they could ever imagine. Since its inception at California State University, Chico in 1987, Gamma Zeta Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has developed the Latino leaders of today and provided them with the tools to succeed in higher education, emerging as one of the leading Latino student organizations in the United States.
Every five years, the National Board of Directors hosts a special anniversary gala to commemorate the fraternity’s history and achievements and to honor individuals and chapters within our organization that have successfully exemplified high standards of leadership, service, scholarship and unity. This year, we are proud to hold our 25-Year Anniversary programs in the beautiful city of San Francisco the weekend of April 5-7, 2013.
