As a student nurse Carlos is doing his volunteer hours by testing patients for COVID-19. Hey makes sure the test is administered correctly and that there is enough specimen to be tested. He is also volunteering at a clinic where they assist RNs test for COVID using the nasal swab. They make sure to educate the patient and others about not exposing themselves and others to avoid further contamination. For Carlos, the most important part is making sure everyone is staying safe.
