Cesar Mejia is the national executive vice president of Gamma Zeta Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He has been with the organization for four years, and he crossed at the Nu Chapter located at the University of California, San Diego. Prior to his current role, he was chief of staff and director of public relations for the national board of directors. During his undergraduate career, he was chapter president, and also received Director of the Year Award for his involvement as the chapter’s director of finance. Cesar has two years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He is an engineer tech assistant at California Resources Corporation, reviewing and analyzing well histories and their mechanical states. He is also a program coordinator at California State University, Long Beach, coordinating an undergraduate research and academic program. Prior to his current roles, he held a variety of positions in the geological and research departments. He is working towards an M.S. in Geology from CSULB and holds a B.S. in Earth Sciences from the UCSD. Cesar is also the vice president of the student chapter of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists at CSULB and is currently living in Los Angeles.
